HHRA are pleased to arrange a selection of events during the year to raise funds for projects which assist with road safety for riders.

In addition to the list below, we are hoping to organise show jumping clinics, Le Trec or horse agility training sessions and evening talks.

If you have an idea or an event you think we should run or would like to help out at any of our events – please do not hesitate to get in touch at headleyheathridersassociation@yahoo.co.uk

Evening Talk – Sport Psychology Sarah Sjoholm-Patience
Sports Psychology from a rider’s (and coach’s) perspective presented by Grand Prix dressage rider and world class coach, Sarah Sjoholm-Patience.
She is just back from the Centre 10 on Applied Psychology for Equestrian Coaches Gold programme 2019 3 day residential. She’ll be sharing information and ideas on this important and often overlooked area. Sarah’s talk will give an overview of why sports psychology is important to riders and what the fundamentals are.
She’ll then talk about some of the tools that delegates can use to help themselves and how they can benefit from further exploration and self-analysis.
Sarah is passionate about developing horses and riders across the equestrian disciplines to their full potential and has trained with some of the world’s best dressage riders, including Klaus Balkenhol, Jennie Loriston-Clarke and Arthur Kottas von Heldenberg.
